These are the final two weeks to wrap up of my private writing time! It’s been a magical journey for me to write The Power of Sexy Relationships; Stories from the Heart to Live Your Passions and Embrace Your Purpose. Thank you for being a part of the birthing process for this book. I have carried every word you spoke, every sorrow you’ve felt, and every song you sang with me on this journey. You’ve been right here, in my heart, the entire time.

The Breath and Presence of Spirit has also been a guiding light during the past two weeks of the editing process. I wanted to share how I have experienced confirmation that several stories have been ‘chosen’ for the book during this powerful editing process.

Intuition comes in many forms, and I share the miraculous experiences of how I learned how to trust the unique ways those Whispers of Wisdom came to in the book. In this note I will share a few stories and how they were confirmed over the past couple of weeks during the editing and re-writing process.

There are still more stories that want to be told and they are coming trying to get my attention right now, so it’s time to scoot along to keep up with my writing muse. She speaks faster than I can type! Oh, and did I mention these are all true stories about my personal experiences, and the experiences of women, and men dear to my heart?

Intuitive Confirmations

The Power of Visualization – this is the true story about an interactive visualization I created 17 years ago for someone I loved who was diagnosed with leukemia. The medical cure was to find a perfect match for a Bone Marrow Transplant.

While editing this story I hopped into my car for the 7 minute drive to the beach where I enjoy a daily two mile walk. The radio was on and the morning show guys announced that there would be a Bone Marrow Screening Tent set up just a few blocks away from where I lived. This was an incredible confirmation since I have wanted to be a donor for 17 years. Seattle has the most sophisticated medical facilities in the world, yet it would take coming to the small town of Kona to get into the life saving data base!

I saw this as a ‘Divine Confirmation’ for this story since I had just worked on it that morning. Intuition can come through messengers, who are in the media, who are walking on the path in front of you, who call you up on the phone, post something on Face Book, or many other ways. In this case, it came through the radio, which is very common. Usually, the radio brings us a specific song that has a message within it, or is  comfort to hear in that moment, however, this message was a call to action. I didn’t hesitate or ignore the call, and I am soon to get my official donor card in the mail. Hawaiians really need donors due to the small amount of people in their donor bank.

The Power of Being Vulnerable – For many days I have been re-writing a story about this topic when my ‘sister in love’ emailed me a video clip that was by a female doctor who I respected, and was one of the handful of book resources I brought with me to Hawaii. My sister and I have never spoken of this woman and this was the absolute confirmation that I was indeed on the right track!

The Power of Intuition – The editing process can bring up insecurities about not writing a good read. I heard the small voice of my inne critic start to taunt me, “You’re not a professional writer, and your stories will not be engaging enough.”

After observing the Inner Critic, I went onto Face Book to look for something inspirational to read, and I came across an article that my friend and fellow writer posted. It was by a well known author who wrote a fabulously wild and outrageous book about stories that I read when my sons were young, Women Who Run with Wolves. Her message was to not listen to anyone else about how to write your book, and to just get it done while allowing the Great Creator to move through you!  She was straight to the point, and I appreciated Jonina posting Dr. Clariss Pinkola Estes speaking to me in that Divine Moment.

The Power of Holistic Health – Yesterday, I received an email regarding my Dads health. My educational background is in Holistic Health and I’ve studied bodies of work in nutrition, energy healing – emotional, mental, physical, environmental and spiritual health for nearly 30 years. My grandmother got me started on carrot juice in my mid twenties to kick the nicotine habit.

This morning after talking to one of my brothers, and quickly scribbling nutritional information down in emails with links and some practical information, I once again heard the Voice. “Write the story with the resources you want to share with your family in the book.”

I would have missed this story had I not received an email about my dad’s health issues. I just spoke with him and he is happy to have a good prognosis. In fact, he asked me when he will have a great grandchild. I try to let him know that I don’t have anything to do with that department and that I did my part! We’re looking forward to seeing him turn 79 in December.

The Power of the Heart – This one was pretty wild because it was so big for me. I had a rough draft of a story I had been working on for days. It was a continuation from my original story of The Power of Vulnerability. I needed a ‘bridge’ at this point in my book that would include multiple sub topics, and I’d been focusing all of my attention on it all week.

I woke up at 4:30 am to begin writing. It didn’t take long to feel the “Presence” sitting with me as I entered the flow. The Divine Eternal Mother was feeding my keyboard and all I needed to do was be the conduit. I saved that body of writing, knowing that I would come back to it for a clean-up of re-writes and edits later. I had notes at the top of the page to remind me of what I wanted to cover, and notes at the bottom of the page, with a lot of yummy stuff in the middle. I never looked at my notes and just let the ‘download’ come in.

Later in the day it was time to watch Oprah’s Final Show. My sweet friend, Anne, and I were watching from different islands – she’s on Oahu, and I’m on the Big Island of Hawaii. After the 2^nd segment, I started sending her emails saying, “I just wrote about this stuff this morning!’

Then it got even more profound so I called her up, “Ok, I am going to send you my document with the date stamped on it for when I wrote it! Oprah’s ‘Love Letter’ to her viewers all about the topics that I’ve just written about this morning!”

We both laughed and said our favorite mantra, “Of course she was! We are co-creating these events and are being confirmed in our commitment to reach women around the world!”

Now that’s the Ultimate Confirmation! I sent it to Anne and she ‘got it’ that this book is in Divine Time.

Thank you for being a witness to this very important commitment in my life. I have been stretched through this commitment to reach another dream that began about 20 years ago. Now, I can help others reach their dreams in one more way, writing. If a nine year old girl who didn’t have any self worth and flunked ‘reads for pleasure’ in school could grow up to write and publish her own book, then you can too!

Life will always be an emotional roller coaster ride with ups and downs depending on what is happening in your current reality. How you cope with life on life’s terms will determine your level of peace and serenity today. This last week we’ve heard from many women who have experienced the loss of a loved one. Our hearts are with all of you as you move through this stage of life.

My wonderful friend of 16 years and co-creator of the You Are a Powerful Woman! Retreat, Myra Merkal, was one of these women. Her sister, Sylvia, traveled from Germany to Canada to be with Myra, and their two brothers by sharing their ailing father’s life together. Myra asked them to share their memories and thoughts about their father, and wrote down everything they said. Sylvia knew it was the last time she’d see her father in his body as she returned home to Germany. Several days later Myra went to see her father in the hospital and read to him the stories and words from his children. She said it was a very precious and touching moment. Shortly afterwards, he made his transition. Myra is an example of a woman who is living her legacy for all of us to follow.  She is a mentor and one of the best friends I’ve ever had. Myra Merkal is a very powerful, sensitive and loving woman.  We love you Myra.

It’s important to celebrate the good feelings of pleasure, and joy even in the aftermath of such pain and sadness from events such as the Tsunami. Being a Light Worker is about shining your light even in times of darkness to Illuminate a deeper love and kindness.

The energy and wonderful feelings of Enlightenment has a very high vibration and feels good. The contrasting feelings of depression has a much lower vibration due to loss of hope and feels bad. We simply feels a whole lot better when life is bright and positive then when it is dark and stressful. The best way to help those who are suffering is to raise the level of joy in your own heart. This is why I decided to celebrate these two women in this tender moment as the world prays for ‘The Mother’ (earth) and for everyone and everything who depend upon her for survival.

Please send your thoughts, feelings and focused meditation on how you want to feel and what you want to see in your mind’s eye as if it has already happened.  See the unseen energy and spirits working with us creating health and well being all over the world. Envision the earth surrounded by love and light as it already is.

Catch Your Dreams!  Two Powerful Women in our Community of Success!

Denise Cunningham is a very powerful woman! Last week her brand new book, Whispers of Hope became a #1 Bestseller on Amazon! She’s celebrating great joy and deep gratitude from this experience. I walked into a book store in Kona while holding The Madonna Code and within minutes a woman was asking me where she could find the book. I sold her the copy I had in my hand and then another woman wanted one too. They were so excited to read it and they were very powerful women! I gave a copy to one of the women in my Pleasure in Paradise Retreat and she read it on the airplane. The stewardess asked her where she could find a copy. The buzzipple effect of the Divine Feminine is being felt by women who are ready to embrace her.

Both of these women’s experience was birthed by a community effort after they joined the Spiritual Authors Circle. The SAC is a committed group of women and one very powerful man, who shared a common purpose to become #1 Bestsellers list on the Amazon charts.

These two Powerful Authors became clear that their message was meant to be shared by writing a book. When Karen made the decision to write her book she thought the best way to get her book written was to help other authors to get their books written.

Karen was at a crossroads in her life and had a deep desire to use her skills as a gifted teacher to good use by hosting a monthly writing circle. The Divine You Spiritual Writers Group was born. I was in her first Divine You Writing Circle.

Since I lived in Seattle at the time, I drove 2 hours each way to be a part of the circle. It meant crossing the border twice and each trip took me 6-8 hours. I was clear that my next step was to get my book written. This circle changed our writing styles and inspired everyone involved to the next level while enhancing our community in British Columbia. We enjoyed coming together once a month to be a part of this successful circle of writers. Commitment is to glue that holds the circle together in reaching everyone’s dream. Not just one person is going to be successful in reaching their dream – everyone is successful based on the vision of the team. Week by week the circle kept their agreements while working through the challenges they faced in their weekly tasks. It wasn’t always easy. The difference between failure and success is Commitment to keep moving forward.

They were committed to the success of the group and were willing to do whatever it took to have each author claim her number one status. The women had plenty of opportunities for spiritual, emotional growth and expansion within the group – yet they persevered.

What we think of failure is simply a series of mistakes on the path to success. When we make enough mistakes, we learn and grow into knowing what works for us and what doesn’t. Success is just one mistake away. Don’t quit before the miracle happens! 

Beliefs and Intentions

When I asked Denise if she was ready to be the next #1 Author on Amazon and beyond she didn’t hesitate for a split second, “YES I am!”

On the morning of her book launch the SAC Team gathers together to process the orders for the book at the home of the author. Being in Hawaii, I did my usual ritual of lighting prayer candles on my altar. I then printed a piece of paper that read, “Denise Cunningham is the next #1 Best Selling Author on Amazon!! Congratulations Denise!!” My commitment to the women in our community is to hold their dreams in my heart. It’s how we infuse love and co-create success for the people in our community to reach their dreams. I did it for Karen too. I will do it for the other authors that launch their incredible books. It’s simply what we do. We are all mid wives to the birthing of the books, like a Doula. Which is the next book to be launched. “What Does a Doula Do?”

One woman’s dream will manifest when the social networking community acts as her Dream Weaver Team. When someone makes a declaration to reach for success we honor and affirm her intentions. We align our thoughts, energy and beliefs into the direction of her dreams and desires.

We co-create intentions together, and allow the unseen energy, magic and wisdom of the Highest Source to Illuminate the path. Every decision, every action, every reaction is in Divine Time and Alignment with what is to be. We trust and grow in the flow of energy and events.

The essence and fragrance of love is in the air on the Big Island of Love! Love Month is one of my favorite months. My beloved and I celebrated our 32^nd anniversary on Feb 6th which makes it even more special. Every year it feels like a miracle for me, especially considering my past ‘her-story’ before and after we were married.  I want to be very clear that it’s because of the all the wonderful women in my life that I am able to dance in delight with my beloved today.  

Women bring the energy of love into my life. Today, my heart is open because of women. I surround myself with loving, passionate, honest, authentic – powerful women – who enjoy life to the fullest. The friends I kept prior to becoming fully conscious in 1988 were my party-girl friends who got wasted and destroyed our bodies – loving life force energy – that is so precious to me today. I didn’t understand the commitment to loving myself when I was a 27 year old party girl. I didn’t know any better then, but now I do.

The women I enjoy being with today are fun, outrageous, adventurous and responsible for all of their actions. They are committed to the process of returning to love quickly, and holding the vision for other women’s dreams. They don’t sink down into the depths of low self esteem wallowing around in problems; they shake off unwanted situations by refusing to give them ‘air’ time. They know that whatever they focus on – and whatever they think and feel on a regular basis – grows and expands. They choose to share their love and energy with those who value it.

The women I surround myself with today are women who take the time to check in with their body’s wisdom and who are committed to loving their self fully in the moment, to the best of their ability, no matter where they are. They are women who seek to know themselves deeply, intimately and to trust in their own intuitive powers. They are committed to their passionate purpose to be the love that they seek to find, and ultimately discover that this love is within their own heart. They don’t allow people, places or situations to deplete their radiance, energy source or supply.

I love women!

Most people love women. Smart men surround themselves with powerful women. Powerful women do not take energy from others; rather they infuse their loving radiance into the lives of others. They intuitively know when to speak and when to listen. These powerful and wise women understand the commitment to ‘The Dance’ that it takes to cultivate and nourish a “Long Term Spiritual Relationship.” (LTSR)

LTSR’s can be with anyone. There are no limits to who you love or why you love them. The defining component to being committed to loving someone or something is that it brings you more pleasure and feels good in your body. It’s a reciprocal bond and commitment to enhancing the quality of your life experience.

The love I celebrate and cherish with my husband is one love. Another love is the one I share with my women friends, and another is the love I share with my sons. It’s all the same energy and essence. Love is infinite. Everyone is surrounded by this infinite presence. No one is alone really.

All you need is to be fully present to the moment and to feel your heart beating. Being alive is a miracle. By being in a state of mindfulness, you will connect with this love. It’s in the song of the birds, in the beauty of nature, in the warmth of the sunshine, in the center of the fire and it’s in the food that we eat when it’s prepared with hands holding the energy of love. Breathe in gratitude for this moment of Divine Love and Appreciation.

Some call the presence of love God, Source, Soul, Goddess, Divine Feminine, or hundreds of other names and definitions. Many agree that enlightened Love is ineffable.  All I know is that love feels good. You don’t need to become enlightened to feel love, although love will allow you to feel lighter and connected to the Source of Your Power.

Higher Purpose Women

Women who have healthy relationships with men, women and children have grounded themselves in a Higher Love. They are committed to sharing the heart of their wisdom and gifts with the world around them. Some of my closest friends are women I met through being in service to co-creating healthier relationships within our families and communities. These women are what we call, “No Problem Women.”

They take a stand in their life to grow up and become responsible, mature and powerful women. They are so much fun to be around because they are true to themselves and to their sensitive inner spirit. Everyone is sensitive on some level. Women are the deeper spiritual component for other women. When we pray to our higher power for solutions within our relationships – we find ourselves being guided back to the women because they know how to cradle us in their arms as we learn how to be vulnerable. They gently rock us with love, and infuse us with their wisdom like a warm blanket on a cold night.

Higher Purpose women co-create their lives by sharing – and then affirming – each other’s dreams and desires. They create the vision for their relationships, and allow the Divine Presence of Love to fulfill them. They flow within the river of life towards their desires. They honor the unseen forces that brought them into the reality of the new moment. A Higher Purpose Woman owns her inner power to take care of her body so that she can feel what is happening all around her. When she shows up fully present in the moment with an open, clear and loving heart – she co-creates ‘Mini-Miracles.’

Everything around you was created from a thought. Love is a thought. It’s simple, but not always easy. We learn how to love ourselves by practicing with women who are on the same path. We do this by surrendering our hearts to the women who have already walked on hot coals and faced the heat of the fire of life experience that cracked open her heart through pain, remorse and regret. We heal, we sing and we dance. We do this together in a community of women.

Create Space in All of Your Relationships

Women who gather together often return home to their partners who declare, “Where is my wife, and what have you done to her? I like this woman!” Women often say to me, “I went away from home for a weekend to a seminar, and when I came home my husband looked different. He didn’t change anything, or do anything different. I guess I needed to have some space so that I could appreciate him more when I returned.”

Relationships need space. When I’d unconsciously try to get some much needed space from my husband, I’d go out to the bars and go dancing with my girlfriends. But that simply created more distrust between us. He didn’t trust me so he’d get angry. I didn’t feel good because he was angry so we kept perpetuating a pattern that didn’t work until one day our lives changed with a near fatal accident involving our youngest son.

Since then I’ve learned how to create ‘healthy space’ between my husband and myself so that I can get my needs met and my heart filled up by the women who speak my language and know how to have fun in ways that only women know. This is why I created the Pleasure in Paradise retreats. To allow women time to enjoy themselves and to learn how to have some outrageous fun while connecting with nature.

When I hung up my ‘party girl mentality’ I picked up my ‘Commitment to Love.’ For 32 years I have practiced the art of loving one man. He is a beautiful man. He is a very masculine man. His heart is gold. It’s not always easy to be with a man or with anyone 24/7 without some space. Relationships need space in order to breathe. I appreciate him more when I have time to be with my friends and enjoy coming home to his loving arms and tender kisses.

We continue to grow One Moment at a Time. I am grateful for his commitment to me, and to our sons. He and my sons have shown me the absolute best in good men. I trust them to get things done. They built my first retreat home so that the women could gather together at the “You Are a Powerful Woman!” retreats. They would watch the women leave our homestead with softer faces and a light that is uncommon in the world around them. They enjoyed helping the women who were cleaning up afterwards because they thanked them for what they built for us. The women showered them with praise, food and hugs. What man wouldn’t enjoy this kind of attention? Their ego’s were stroked lovingly, and authentically. Their chests would puff out a bit and they stood a bit taller as they watched the women drive away laughing and smiling.

Men don’t always understand what or why women do the things we do. All they know is that when Higher Purpose – Higher Powered Women come together and have fun doing what we do – we come back to them much happier.

Women will Open Your Heart when you Surrender to Love

Powerful women open each other’s hearts and access the Divine within her. We have the power to open, and heal each other’s wounded hearts by becoming better women from the experience. We have the same power to close our hearts and becoming bitter while clinging to resentment and mistrust.

Wounded women will project her self induced guilt onto others until she heals the shame that holds her hostage in a cycle of old patterns that no longer serve her. She becomes stuck in the triangle of shame, guilt and blame inevitably follows as she shakes her fingers at everyone around her. Or she blames herself by allowing more pain to be dumped onto her lap like a faithful servant doomed to suffering.

 Do you want to become a better vibrant woman or a bitter old woman? I want to become better in every moment. I will continue to surround myself with other beautiful and powerful women in my community.

The beauty and power I am referring to comes from the inside. You can’t get it from jewelry, make-up, Botox or by starving yourself. You won’t find it in the sugar bowl, a bottle of wine, through sex, your bank account, shopping, cars, or your PhD. No amount of plastic surgery will take you deeper into love and intimacy.

Your inner power and essence has the ability to light up a room when you enter it without saying a word. Your radiance glows from within your heart. The energy you infuse is the energy of peace.

I promise you that if you are honest, open, and willing to commit to love, you will find it. Women who have deep loving relationships are much more exciting than any romance novel. She might have a tender relationship an animal; enjoy growing a garden; dancing with her friends; being with her children; cooking a meal; or enjoying her life work. No matter where she is, she is love.

Choose to love experiences that love you back. After all, you are the co-creator of your life. Simply look at what are you creating. If you don’t like the experiences you are having, then change them. Create love.

Thank you to all the women who have come into my life over the past 22 years. I have loved each one of you. You’ve helped me to grow and expand into a healthier, more powerful woman. I continue to take the lessons that you have given me to be a better woman in this moment. I am a more loving woman today because of your commitment to loving me.

My husband thanks you for teaching me the power of my purpose. He also thanks you for opening my heart every time we meet in the garden of pure potentiality. He knows that with one woman’s love – anything is possible!

Moment of Truth: Do you surround yourself with healthy powerful women who are committed to Love? Who are you in a LTSR with? Tell someone you love or appreciate them today; even your past ex-lovers, especially if they are the parent of your child. The most powerful women I know heal the relationships with their ex’s because they know that they are co-parenting their children. Make peace and consider being friendly to his new beloved because she will influence your child’s future more than you know.

The other gift you have given me and I know other women too, which is so simple, is that you told me, I was perfect just the way that I was. That was the first time anyone had ever told me that and it was something that was so necessary for me to hear. I had grown up and lived most of my life thinking there was something wrong with me and I was either broken or bad.
